Facebook Page Roles

 

  • Open The Page for which you want to assign the new admin
  • Click on “Setting” in the top right corner of the screen
  • Now from the left tab select “Page Roles.”
  • You will be able to see the section as assign Page roles
  • Enter the person name you want to give admin rights

  • select “Admin.”
  • Click on the Add Button next to the tab
  • A pop will appear to click OK
  • Now, Enter Your password, and you have successfully assigned a new admin to the page.

Similarly, You can assign  the role of an Editor, Moderator, Advertiser, Analyst and Live Contributor

and using the same methods you can also change the role of a person from one to another.

From edit page role section, you can in future change a person from “Admin” to Editor, Moderator, Advertiser or Live Contributor.

Rights For Facebook Page Role

There are different rights for different page role and these are as follows:

Admin

Limitation:

  • Manage Page roles and settings (An Editor cannot manage page roles as an Admin)

Advertiser

  • Create Adds
  • View insights
  • See who published as the Page

Limitation: An advertiser can only access things related to adds and can’t manage page role as an admin and do certain things which the editor and moderator have rights for.

 Analyst

  • View insights
  • See who published as the Page

Limitation: An analyst has only limited rights up to analyzing the page and does not have similar access as an admin, moderator or editor

Live Contributor

  • Can go live on the Page from a mobile device

Limitation: A live contributor can only go live on your Facebook page and does not have any other rights which are enjoyed by different page roles.
